Carmel Maria Moore is a neonatologist in Dublin, Ireland, working with the National Neonatal Transport Programme and based in the National Maternity Hospital. She has just completed her PhD on her research exploring neonatal platelet and blood transfusion, including the follow-up of the children that took part in the PlaNeT-2/MATISSE RCT as babies.
