The SAFE-R Protocol
Learn how to incorporate the SAFE-R protocol (Sonographic Assessment of liFe-threatening Emergencies) using point of care ultrasound, and how this can be incorporated into your management of the acutely deteriorating neonate. This workshop is available as a standalone session and can be attended either in the morning (9:00 – 12:00) or in the afternoon (13:00 – 16:00). When registering, please select your preferred time slot.

Neonatal Vascular Access
This interactive, 3- hour workshop will cover the “7 Rights” for vascular access which will provide you with hands-on use of infrared and ultrasound devices for vein visualization and assessment (NIR and POC-US). Gain practice with Seldinger and Micro Seldinger techniques, as well novel approaches to fixation and stabilization.
